Syllabus

Week by week

Mentors adjust pace within the term, but every cohort covers the same milestones and finishes with a project.

History, current capability, and separating marketing from mechanism.
Collecting, cleaning and labelling a small dataset as a class.
Teachable Machine, then scikit-learn on a tabular dataset.
Accuracy, confusion matrices, bias and consent.
An image or text classifier solving a problem the student chooses.
Presenting results and answering questions on the limits of the model.

Entry requirements

Comfortable typing and either a completed CodeAugs Explorer term or equivalent experience. A short placement chat confirms the fit.
