Syllabus

Week by week

Mentors adjust pace within the term, but every cohort covers the same milestones and finishes with a project.

Core loop, rules, feedback and paper prototyping.
Nodes, scenes, sprites and input handling.
Gravity, hitboxes, damage and scoring.
Difficulty curve, sound, menus and play-testing.
Exported build, itch.io page and public play session.

Entry requirements

Comfortable typing and either a completed CodeAugs Explorer term or equivalent experience. A short placement chat confirms the fit.

Campus laptop or kit during sessions, all software licences, printed workbook and lesson recordings for online cohorts.
