Privacy Policy

How CodeAugs collects, uses and protects personal data - especially children's data. Last updated 1 July 2026.

1. Who we are

CodeAugs is an educational technology academy registered in Ghana, operating from Adenta-Dodowa Road, Accra. For any privacy question, write to [email protected].

2. What we collect

  • Parent or guardian name, email address and phone number
  • Student first name, age and learning notes
  • Attendance records and project work submitted in class
  • Payment references (we never store card numbers)
  • Basic website analytics such as page views and device type

3. Why we collect it

To place students in the right course, run classes, report progress to parents, process fees and improve our teaching. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Children's data

Accounts are held by the parent or guardian, not the child. Student work is visible only to the student, their guardian and their mentors. Photographs are published only with written consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.

5. Retention

Enrolment records are kept for three years after a student's last term, then deleted. Consent records are kept for as long as the related material is published.

6. Your rights

You may request a copy of the data we hold, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it. We respond within thirty days.

7. Cookies

This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Any analytics we run is aggregated and cannot identify an individual visitor.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will email enrolled families before the change takes effect.
